Hi guys,

Let me excuse for my english, but its way better than my swedish  ;) obvious I could do a search, but this wont work out on the 300 power forum. But I'm convinced you guys will help me out here.

What clutch setup do most people use for turbo 360 setup?

Pressure plate?
Friction plate?

For the rear I have front escort discs, sierra rear calipers with ferodo pads.

For the front I have 4pot Wilwood superlite calipers with Golf G40 discs, but I'm probably gonna change the discs, as I cant use 13" rims anymore.

Hej, jag ska prova mina uppdateringar på Volvo 360 i Sverige gör. Det går igenom en översättare, så jag hoppas att förstå.  ;D Sen lär jag mig också något av språket.

Min gamla drift-340 säljs och jag är nu helt på den professionella byggandet av 360. Jag skulle gå med 360 Prodrift i Europa och även lämplig för rallyn eller klättra en kulle att rida.

Well, I'm figuring things out for production. I have to sell enough sets to get return on my investment. When I know more about it, I'm comming back with a prototype and pictures and stuff.

About handling, you might know, that its not possible to adjust the rear agliment. When you can adjust camber and TOE, you can get any way of handling you want. For example, I want to try for drifting a bit less camber, because of tirewaste on the innersite. For race solutions, you might want a bit more camber for more grip.

And, most important, I have an axle with discbrakes, but the left wheel is about one degree on TOE, I want to adjust it back to about zero. Otherwise the car would move with a angle on a straight road.

Hi all,

I want to adjust the rear axle, toe and camber. I've already worked out how its gonna be, but if there are enough people how would like to buy a kit, I maybe let a lot of sets CNC be made. It would be a complete kit, wich fits stock axle, no modifications needed. Adjustment does'nt have any limits.

So its the way to agline the rear axle on a road or motorsport car.

Please let me know. Can't say any prices yet, but the more people they want, the cheaper it will be. When I have an indication of how many sets, I can give a indication of a price. Please give up your name if you are interested, its only a indication for me at this moment.

Would someone translate this to your language?

Hehe, no problem.

The lovely 340 is sold!  :'( Up to the new V360!

Update time!

Car had damage, so a second hand front of a 340 had find a new place. Derusted it ofcourse.



I wanted to remove the batteryholder, started to grind and found out a old leak made it all gone. Even a part of the chassis. Welded al new in place (No battery holder, batt is gonna take place in the interior)





Still figuring out how to place steeringcolum and cage underneath dash

Rear reinforsement, for the coilovers and stiffness.




Plates for seats. I want to sit low as possible, so this will be the best solution. Also fia spec.


Building a nice head. Its gonna have a nice compressionratio.

Seamwelding with mig. Only my "new" car is/will be seamwelded. It takes rediculous much time. It already toke two man a complete week. There is still 4 days work for two man I think. I'll not quickly do it again I think. I really misunderstand how much time it would cost... Hehe  ;D My cage will be a bolted one unfortunately, because of lack of money. However, a bolted cage is easely removed if I have the money for a really decent cage. still building the car with a almost nothing budget.... But somehowe its good to build without money, it makes you creative.

The other cars are not seamwelded.

My car will be black, and I try to get the same paint/scheme sponsored. Black is the basis colour for the special paint, and must be painted black in the first place.

The other cars don't have any build threads. The guys are not realy active on the internet. The 5 door has over 400 BHP, custom prop, shafts and gearbox.

No turbo. I was thinking of throttle bodies goodness for the future. But it will be running the stock inlet manifold in the beginning.

Turbo is not allowed for rallydriving. And I do want to drive rallystages, just because its awesome.

It wasn't a real competition however. Just kind of a demo. Some friends (of the puma) organised the demo, and I said, I wanna drive that too! lol

Lots of fun. Well, it was probably the first and last time to drive a rallytrack. Because I don't have a rallycar, and not even a cage yet....  But very great fun! If I have the oppertunity again, I 'll say directly yes

This was the only uprated clutch available. A new volvo one can't stand the power  ;D

However, it acts great. I'll be keep some gearboxes on spare. Just change them four times a year I think  ;D

Yeah, I have to be fast working if I want to be a competative drifter.

Diff is welded.

I took one secondhand piston and 4 other bushes because the old ones where pretty bad. Did machine the "new" bushes, and toke new pistonrings.

It looks like the clutch is killing the gearbox I think. I just been driving a few days and the synchromesh of 2th and 3th is dead.

I did a revision.. It is running again. A cilinder was broken. Thursday competition.



























































I did a little 0-100km/h test. Its about 8 - 9 seconds I think. It can be a lot faster, because my 3th synchro is dead, and my diff is way too long.

A friend is busy in getting the use of it sorted. I don't know exactly all.
But: its a formula of position, direction of forces and steeringposition.

You can put in any(!) signal you want. You just need the (expensive) sensors.
