Hi there, maybe you all don't understand me, but I can't speek swedish. I could be that some of you already seen my cars on V3M, but I also wanted to show some pictures here:

It are dampers engineerd bij Koni, Netherlands. I'v found them on a second hand partswebsite. They are very rare. They work excelent.

Yes, they where made for the volvo 300. If i'm at home, i will take a look for the serial number.

it's possible that what u got there is R-Sport spring. (coilovers) and they are kinda rare.

A little opdate on my cars

The 340: I lowerd the front a bit, because I could't get any stiffers springs over here, i try'd it with one coil less At the same time mounted new koni's I adjust them half way stiff. Because of the very stiff rear, and pretty weak front its very nice oversteerd!



Rear lowering will be soon I hope. And also install the miggdiff. I do want to get my driftlicence, so I can drive competitions.

Hai David!

It is a Mocal thermostatic adapter, bought by www.racehardware.nl (Holland, distributor) http://www.isa-racing.de/

Original it had also a adapter:



But I wanted a thermostatic one. I think I can sell the old one to some renault freak.

I'm waiting for some new parts for my 343. A few seals, sparkplugs, vacuum hose, adapter for oilfeed turbo... I think I can start up the engine for the first time then. But tomorrow on vacation in Belgium and french   ;D

Nice car you have there!

Some that I noticed:

343 L? In Sweden we just have DL or GL or of course GLT! (For the 300, but on 1 & 200 we have L to)

The wing on your tail I have never seen, neither the holder for the licenseplate.
And nice "ramp" between the rear lights!  To bad it does'nt fit my 1987 360  :'(

Keep up, but have you the engine running now?

Hey there!

In Holland we had a few cheap ass 340's. The 340 L and the 340 winner, everything that not definately should be on a car, was left away. And my 340 L has a single solex carb instead of the 2 trap webber. My car has only 64 hp....

The 343 was DL or GL yes..

The rear tailspoiler is a standard mkII GLT!

The licenceplate holder is a original volvo accecoire :] Came with the reflector as a set.

About the 343 Turbo... Eh, engine isn't running yet. I have to buy a few last things, but I don't have the money right now.. I'll have to wait.

Little update

I'm pretty busy with school, so don't have much time for the volvo's. The 343 isn't running yet, but i'll get some little parts this week for the turbo oilfeed.

I was thinking about a 60mm exhaust from the turbo. Only one absorbtion damper, I think it is enough.
 
I also have some other wheels, which looks a bit modern. However, in the winter now, the white ones go back.

Actually, I didn't really liked it. So I toke it off... But it damaged when I dismounted it  :-X

Need to look at:

-acceleration jet

-gauges, oiltemp and turbopressure don't work.

-fix the leaks in the turboheader  lol
- MOT

In Sweden we call it "besiktning". Direct English translation will be "inspection".
It is performed by the "Swedish Car Testing", "Svensk Bilprovning" in swedish.

It is in dutch, if you have any questions, don't hesitate
about the 343. It stands workless @ my parents home. Probably gonna sell it.

The 340 is amazing now.. Loads of power. I guess about 130 horsepower. 5 gearbox and welded diff. Turbo works excellent, spools up very quick.
