I have really fed up with this car. I have too much trouble with it and not so much time..or money. I have come to this situation that this car is coming too expencive to me and i have decided to sell it
Right now i dont have enough money to restore it

But some good news,  my mothers "boyfriend" bought three days ago Volvo 245 -86 and he went to Germany with that car. Now i have decided to buy it That car is coming for me in everyday-car until i came to Sweden in next Summer because im buying some Volvo 200 Turbo from there

What is the right way to put propshaft into b200?
I have to remove my broken propshaft and put unbroken to it..
It broke when I removed technic from GLT and I hitted too hard to wrong place so bearings which are inside torquetube? didnt like that kind of hitting.

Now propshaft rattles and clunches while driving so it must be changed.

First time I putted propshaft, my friend told me that cluthcovers bolts must be  
losened so it will bend while putting propshaft into clutchhole..

So tell me what is right way to put it so I can do it right for now :?

Those blocks are illegal in Finland

There shouldn't be any law which would make them illegal. If some MOT inspector had said that, he is wrong.. We have lowering blocks in our GL and those have been in there for over 15 years and there has never been any problem in the MOT.

Ok..i havent heard that

Gulbrandsen_Racing: Its MK2 grill with no marks..I have sawed those marks off, filled holes and painted black

I have to put this project to ice till end of the August because i dont have any money to continue it. And also i have to repair propshaft because its broken, it rattles and klonks..

So, i have to buy some car so i can go to work..
I got new job which starts 28.8 so then i get more money

But good thing is that ive got some new and fresh pictures for you guys !! Im posting those today in the evening..

Hi all!!
Now i have finally stripped off 360 GLT from parts..
Im doing front struts?!( dont know right word, but that thing where is front shocks and brakediscs etc..)
Im going to paint them. I also got new brakediscs,pads, etc for full brake-repairing

Updates and new pictures are coming

Hi again

Now i have finally changed rearaxle
It was pretty easy job..I had to change one driveshaft because it went broken. Car lowered a lot with GLT-leafsprings but still im going to put loweringblocks there.
Updates are coming

Now ive put oil to transmission and shaking has been settled down. Exhaustsystem also vibrates to body because it isnt right at moment..And one seam leaks also.

There is a lot of finishing but main thing is that car move, work and start well

I have to move battery from left side to rightside of the car because other wise aircleaner wont fit. And im not putting stockfilter..

Must change oils in transmission,differential and engine.
Next job is to change rearaxle and that im going to do so i can put lowering blocks after inspection Those blocks are illegal in Finland

But im so happy to drive with my 340/360 again

Hi all!!
Now ive started engine and driven a bit. Everything works well..
But, with second gear car shakes a bit I think there are not much oil in transmission because when i take clutch up and put gear to neutral transmission gives noise like khhhhhhh.

I know that noise doesnt come from propshaft because it has been tightened. Noise stops if i put clutch down

Hahaa..now ive got rearend/transmission, fueltank and propshaft into my car. Ive also done some electricwork with fuelpump.
I fighted hours with propshaft until i got it in place

Damn i was tired for working 2 days and about 15-16 hours per day Maybe it is a good thing to have a little break from this project, week or two

There are some bad things also..I broke sidemarkerswitch (that thing where are windshieldwiper and sidemarkers,behind steeringwheel) but luckily i have sparepartscar

Next jobs are tightening propshaft and changing rearaxle

Hmm..its going to be interesting times if i make etanol conversion to my b200e
In sweden you have that E85 which , i suppose, are included with 85% etanol and 15% petrol.
Next week here in finland we get "ecological fuel" with only 2-5% etanol and its a little bit expencive than normal 95e fuel..and we dont get ANY kinds of tax-releaves if we drive with regular fuel or "eco"fuel

But maybe we have sometime also E85, or something like it and then i will convert my Volvo to run with ecofuel

hasse66: i looked that frontspoiler..but..i think its too rounded for 300 volvos. Thats only my opinion.I would think seriously to buy one of those if its more angular/cornery. I looked also Fjabbens Volvo and he has really nice looking frontspoiler from Skoda Felicia

I thought to change my sideskirts, maybe original-style or M3-style
And also ive been thinking new spoiler, maybe big Cosworth-style

But those things comes when car is on the road and enginetransfer is done

Yes turbo was original on the market..well it were R-Sport-marked -->Volvo 360 R-Sport with B19E + turbo. It very rare also here in Finland.
I dont know much about B19ET, but if want to know more check out www.volvolandia.com that place is same place like this 300power but they help with any Volvo you have. From Amazon to new V70

And i have found few things for my project but i aint going to tell  
Because i dont know does it fit..ill keep you wondering and excited

Now I have putted B200E in 340 and it went really well there. Most of time went just to match it in engineroom. And i have to buy new gaswire because i broke old one Luckily my girlfriends father is an sparepartsdealer so i got new gaswire from him very cheap
Next job is to put kardanaxle and transmission/rearend-paket in..

And new pics are coming as soon as possible

Those sideskirts are from Peugeot 205 (some specialmodel, dont remember what) and those are for now fitted only with screws. I really have to put them better.

No I cant speak swedish. I speak only finnish,english and a little bit german well i do know some swedish but you dont want to hear me mumbling swedish Maybe its time to learn so swedish

About project..
Project is going well. I have bought some stuff included 14" BMW steelwheels and tires, freeflow-aircleaner, all parts for full brake-renovation..
I also need katalysator, which i have got from my friend.

The reason why i need katalysator is those Finnish laws

Things are going well here
How much fueltank cost in sweden? Cheapest new fueltank here in finland costs about 120euros (1100kr). Yes i know murphys law if things go wrong..they go wrong as hell.
Weather is quite nice here, sun shines and maybe -2 degrees. Nights are really cold, maybe -15

I wish summer comes fast!!

Now I have removed engine, rearend,transmission and kardanaxle from GLT and those parts are waiting for now to be putted in GL
Damn I was tired for working over 22hours at same!! I was ment to put GLTs technic into the GL at same day but ...well..i was so f#cking tired

Well, next thing to do is put B200E engine to 340GL

In saturday i removed engine from 340 and threw it in garbige
I ve also losened some nuts and bolts in 360 so they will open when i remove its technic. I got 400-series injectionfuelfilter but i dont know does it fit, it looks similiar as my 360s fuelfilter. Does anyone here know will it fit?

Project is going forward pretty well..next job is to remove GLTs technic

Ok..Project have been started and i have removed rearend/transmission,kardanaxle and exhaust pipes from 340 GL  
It was very easy to do but i made it difficult removing extra bolts and nuts
Next thing to do is removing B172K-engine and it will maybe done by next weekend, i dont know yet
